DURBAR SQUARE & PANTAN, 9.9.18

Lots of photos with a few comments, this was a long day.

A poor quality photo, but I like the wood joints and the copper strapping.

The dirt in the air is not the camera lens, it is actually that dirty.

There are a ton of these outfitters.
But they all seem to have the same stuff.
A little variety would be nice.

It is hard to get a decent photograph of these details--with or without flash--
they just don't come out well. All hand carved and many of them several hundred years old.

This Buddhist temple was damaged during the 2015 earthquake and rebuilt beautifully.
It is the best quality workmanship that I have seen.

A beautiful and intricate statue from the 1700's.

Pick the one that does not belong. . .

This man is polishing some brass work
that I assume he made.
